For as long as she can remember, Vicki has had a passion for hair and a creative mind. “This is all I have ever wanted to do” says the owner of Teeze salon. Fully functional with comfort in mind, Vicki has created a home based salon located across from the sunrise center, complete with all the necessary amenities any salon requires.
Knowing she wanted to be in the hair industry, Vicki participated in a co-op program in high-school, learning the basics of the ins and outs of the industry. This lead Vicki to the prestigious Voila Institute of hair design. In 2001 Vicki graduated from the program with honors. Upon graduating, Vicki was offered a job at Voila salon. Here Vicki continued her education with Avada and Goldwell, including her colour masters, colour correction and many others. From 2001 to 2007 Vicki worked her way up to a senior stylist, gradually building a strong clientele.
From there, Vicki set out on her own to strictly focus on her love for hair and her clients. Possessing her certificate of apprenticeship and qualification, Vicki is fully licensed as a professional. Today Vicki enjoys running her business on her own terms. ” I finish what I start. This allows me to build a relationship with my client, and i feel really lucky to do so”.
